Not long ago, I hit a crossroads in my life—one of those classic “what now?” moments. After years of hard work in jobs where I felt more tired than valued, I realized it was time for a change. I went back to school to earn my degree, finally, and started asking myself some big questions about the kind of life I wanted for my family. Through a lot of reflection (and more support from local friends and neighbors than I can say), I came to see that my true goal had always been right here: building something of my own, rooted in this valley.

That’s where Brown Dog Small Business Services LLC was born—a woman-owned, locally based business inspired by my joyful chocolate lab, Cali, whose loyalty, happiness, and boundless enthusiasm for catch are infectious! With 20 years of professional experience behind me, I’m excited to offer tax preparation (using Intuit TurboTax Professional) and bookkeeping (Intuit QuickBooks Online Accountant) to help local neighbors and businesses thrive. Soon, I’ll be adding payroll services, notary public work, and personalized consulting—all designed with our unique community in mind.
